Devin Fuller of ChillerTV wrote a really great article about Photon, and his belief that “while paintball has its own movie, another nostalgic pastime, nay, the most important game of the 1980’s, is patiently waiting for its moment in the sun,” in the wake of the Paintball remake. A remake of the Photon television series would be an interesting proposition. Looking back, I wish the television show had been done differently. But, I have other things I am working on now, and a reboot is not something that I think will happen anytime soon. Devin’s recollection of the series is great, and a good throwback to the 1980’s when Photon was the game to play and the place to be.
